The vibrant history of the Grolsch Brewery dates back to the year 1615. The brewing company set off in the small town of Grolle (now Groenlo) in the east of the Netherlands, and nowadays the Grolsch company is located in the city of Enschede. The company’s traditional market is found in the Netherlands, and this is where most business oriented actions are focused.

The Royal Grolsch company is a part of SABMiller plc.

Besides the well known Grolsch Premium Pilsner, the brewery in the city of Enschede additionally produces various other premium beers in accordance with their specific special recipes. The company’s beer portfolio exists of Grolsch Premium Pilsner, Grolsch Stender, Pilsner Urquell, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, De Klok, Lech Premium, Tyskie, Grimbergen.
